520 Malignant Melanoma: A Rare Primary Bladder Tumour

Abstract A 60-year-old male patient who has been referred by his GP to our ‘one stop hematuria clinic’ due episodes of visible for 3 months. The is Caucasian, non-smoker, drinking alcohol socially with no related family history cancer. There occupational exposure any carcinogens. Flexible cystoscopy that showed a dark coloured bladder mass arising from left side the base. CT urogram evidence soft tissue lesion in urinary upstream mild hydro-uretero-nephrosis. TURBT was performed carefully. Following complete resection tumour lesion, ureteric orifice became visible. morphology and immunohistochemistry profile were consistent malignant melanoma. presence situ component indicated primary origin rather than metastatic deposit. case discussed urology Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meeting. Referral dermatological consultation radiological correlation strongly advised order exclude cutaneous or another mucosal had suspicious skin lesions. lesions on scans. In addition, further PET scan failed show other except bladder. After Histopathologic, dermatologic, radiologic evidence; diagnosis melanoma established. Patient declined radical cystectomy opted go immunotherapy. completing course Nivolumab Ipilimumab, regular follow up recurrence.
